PARTICIPANTS
K4BAI, John T. Laney III,      fpqso=28 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=11 spc=22 total=2090
FT1000MP, 5W output, 40M dipole, 80M inverted vee dipole. 20M was open to the west, but no contesters heard and no answers to CQs. 40M was pretty good to most areas. 80M was very noisy, but worked everyone I heard there (3 stations). CU again next month. Thanks for all QSOs. 72, John, K4BAI.

N4BP, Bob, 5W     fpqso=20 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=10 spc=21 total=1470
W1PID pounding in on 20M at S9+10, then band promptly folded within ten minutes. More lingering thunderstorms made 40M brutal. Didn't even bother checking 80M and shut down after the first hour.

K4OSO, Milt, 5W     fpqso=23 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=5 spc=19 total=1406
Only my second or third RFTB. Lots of fun, with more contacts than I expected. Both 40 and 80 meters were up and down and a bit noisy.

KA2KGP, Tom Perry, 5w     fpqso=24 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=4 spc=14 total=1064
Another nice Bacon Run with many grunts & oinkers heard out there in the pig pen. Bands were pretty good here in WNY. See everyone next sprint, 72 & 73 to all.

wb4x, Brent, 5 watts     fpqso=18 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=2 spc=11 total=616
My first FP contest in a long while. I enjoyed it very much. Rig is a K2 and a 55 foot vertical wire antenna. All bands except 40 meters were dead here. 40 meters pretty much died at 10:15pm. Then just before the end, 80 opened. I'll have a better antenna next time. Thanks for a good time. Brent

k5jhp, Bill, 5 w     fpqso=13 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=2 spc=14 total=574
Good activity for the first hour on 40. 20 was dead from the start here in south Texas. One comment I'd like to make is that I wish those calling CQ would send their call 2 times. Band conditions being what they are with lots of noise and static and QSB someitmes it's hard to pull out the call on one transmission. Sure would help this ole man on receiving, hi hi.Be back next month.

Oh the sweet sound of Piggies on the air. Lot's of loud oink's tonight. Had a blast. I need to remember about the third Sunday. Thanks to all who worked me, especially those who I tortured while using my paddles. I am so out of practice with my paddles that I had to switch over to a straight key. K2WF and K8ZFJ were the loudest oinks. See you on the radio next month. Rig-K2 Key-Begali Graciella, swithced to my Navy Flameproof. 73 and OINK Michael KC2EGL

First time in Months I have been home for this great event. I was only on 40m for about a half hour and As always had fun. I am hoping to be able to be home for next month's RFTB 73 de W2GB

Right in the middle of the Giants game !!!!

WA3ZBJ, Don, 5 watts     fpqso=7 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=0 spc=6 total=126
Had limited time to enjoy our sprint tonight, but 40 meters sounded good with a minimum of QRN and plenty of good oinkers out there. Jim W1PID had the best signal into here. First contest with just-completed K2. I think the CW filters need more careful alignment! 72 oo ... Don

K4AEN, Tom , 5 W     fpqso=5 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=2 spc=6 total=102
FT1000D, 5W, 80 M Full Wave Loop. First FP sprint, and was only on for the last hour. Perhaps better showing next month.

WA8THK, Perry, 5 watts     fpqso=5 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=0 spc=5 total=75
K2 at 5 Watts - 40 meters only Bazooka antenna at 55 ft.

k5GQ, Mark Tyler, 5w     fpqso=4 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=1 spc=5 total=65
k2 with dipole up 18'. When I turned the rig on I heard K5JHP. Called him but he did not answer. The static crashes were bad but I could copy a few stations. Within 5 minutes I had enough of the static. Disconnect the antenna and turn the power off. May Houston will get some of 9" of rain we are short.

kd2mx, Paul, 5w     fpqso=5 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=0 spc=4 total=60
ft897 @5w/~600' loop @25' -- Time was short tonight but conditions seemed pretty good. 72 until next month.

T.T. Omni VI @5wts to G5RV; Could only operate the last 45 minutes of the event. Didn't hear any FP activity to speak of. I worked two (2) local FP members (KK5NA & KM5IT), as well as John, K4BAI. Otherwise....nothing! Oh well...see you next month!
